NextPhase Energy Ltd is a domestic and commercial electrical contractor based in Goole, East Yorkshire. We provide electrical installation, testing and inspection services across Goole, Howden, Selby, York and the surrounding area.

What information we collect and why
Enquiry and contact forms
When you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and details of your enquiry. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where you proceed with a booking, to manage your job. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Email correspondence
If you email us directly, we will keep a record of that correspondence in order to manage your job and any follow-up work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Job records
When we carry out work at your property, we keep records of the work completed, test results and any certificates issued. We are legally required to keep certain electrical certification records. Our lawful basis is legal obligation and legitimate interests.
Invoicing
We collect the information needed to raise and send invoices, including your name, address and email address. Our lawful basis is contract performance.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. This collects anonymous data about pages visited, time spent on the site and how you arrived. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out using your cookie preferences. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies for analytics and, where you have consented, for advertising purposes via the Facebook pixel. Full details are in our cookie policy, and you can manage your preferences using the cookie banner on our website.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following third parties only where necessary:
- Google LLC — for website analytics (Google Analytics 4). Google may process data outside the UK; they are certified under appropriate transfer mechanisms.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook) — where you have consented to marketing cookies, anonymised data may be shared via the Facebook pixel.
- Our job management software — we use business software to manage bookings, jobs and invoices. Your contact details and job information are stored within these systems.
- Our email provider (Google Workspace / Gmail) — email correspondence is processed by Google.
- Regulatory bodies — we may be required to share electrical certification records with building control or relevant authorities where required by law.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry records for up to 12 months if no work is carried out. If we complete work at your property, we keep job records, test results and certificates for a minimum of 6 years in line with standard business practice and electrical industry regulations. Invoice records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — in certain circumstances you can ask us to delete your data.
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Right to object — you can object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — you can ask for your data in a portable format.
