Electrician in Selby. Twenty minutes from us, and we answer the phone.
Based in Swinefleet, DN14 · NAPIT registered · Small jobs welcome · Selby is inside our core patch
Selby is one of the towns we are in most weeks, so it gets the same deal as Goole: no travel charge, small jobs welcome, and a person on the phone who can price most of them there and then. Fuse board upgrades in the older streets, EICRs for the rented houses, EV charger faults and the jobs other firms will not come out for. Ring, or WhatsApp a photo of the problem.
The jobs we get called to most in Selby
Selby has a lot of older terraces and semis, a big rented sector, and new estates going up on the edges. That mix shapes the work we get asked to do.
A big share of our Selby work is landlord EICRs. We do the five-year report, price any remedials from it, and send the certificate to you or your agent. From £255 inc. VAT.
Plenty of Selby terraces and semis still have a rewireable or plastic board. We replace it with a modern metal consumer unit with RCBO and surge protection. Most homes £995 to £1,120 inc. VAT, certificate the same day.
Chargers that have stopped working, and installs the national providers turned down. We diagnose, fix and fit, including the Ohme, Zappi and Hypervolt units already on Selby driveways.
Tripping RCDs, a dead run of sockets, lights flickering in one room. We find the cause rather than swapping parts and hoping. Visits from £102 inc. VAT.
Extra sockets, outside lights, a shower pull cord, a cooker point. From £102 inc. VAT, which covers travel and the first hour.
