WHERE WE WORK

Goole, Howden, Selby and the villages in between. York for the bigger jobs.

Based in Swinefleet, DN14 · Small jobs close to home · Planned work along the York corridor

We are a two-man firm based just outside Goole, so how far we travel depends on the job. A socket in Rawcliffe, yes. A socket in York, probably not. A fuse board or an EICR in York, happily. This page says plainly where we go and for what, so nobody wastes a phone call.

HOW FAR WE TRAVEL, AND FOR WHAT

The honest version of our service area

The core patch

Goole, Howden, Selby, Snaith, Rawcliffe, Airmyn, Hook, Drax, Camblesforth, Eastrington, Gilberdyke and Eggborough. Anything we do, including the small jobs, at the standard £102 minimum.

The York corridor

York, Tadcaster, Sherburn in Elmet, Cawood and the villages along the A19 and A63. Fuse boards, EICRs, EV charger faults and planned work. Small one-hour jobs are usually not worth the trip for either of us, and we will say so.

Further out

Market Weighton, Pocklington, Thorne and the edges of Doncaster and Hull: case by case. Bigger planned jobs and landlord batches, yes. Ring and Nathan will give you a straight answer.

Why we draw the line

Because we are not driving an hour each way for a twenty-minute job, the jobs we do take on get done properly and priced sensibly. If you are outside the patch, we would rather point you at someone closer than charge you for the diesel.

TOWN BY TOWN

What we do in each town

Goole

Home turf, DN14

Terraces with old fuse boards, rental stock for local landlords, EV chargers on driveways that were never built for them. Our most common call-outs, and the shortest drive.

Howden

Howden and the villages

Howden, Eastrington, Gilberdyke and the villages off the M62. Older cottages and newer estates side by side, and plenty of landlords.

Selby

Selby and the district

Selby and the villages down to Drax and Camblesforth. A lot of EICRs for rented homes and fuse board upgrades in older houses.

York

York and the corridor

Planned work only: fuse boards, EICRs and EV charger faults in York, Tadcaster and along the A19 and A64. Not the place for a single socket, and we will tell you if it is not worth the trip.

THE VILLAGES

Places we are in most weeks

Every village on this list is within about twenty minutes of our base in Swinefleet, and we are in most of them every month.

Not on the list? It does not mean no. Ring 01904 599 109 and Nathan will tell you straight away whether it is a sensible trip.

Not sure if you are in range? Ask.

Ring or WhatsApp with the postcode and what needs doing. You will get a straight yes, no, or a price, usually in the same call.

Mon to Fri, 8:30 to 5. Nathan usually answers.
